opening a small shop

Hello my name is Alexnder i'm 22 years old and i'm studying in Greece at the University of the Aegean.

I have a half brother his name is Elias and he is 40years old who is a drug addict.He is rather quiet now but he is a big problem to my father because he cannot take care of himself and has never workhed in his life (my father is 70years old and before 6 mothns he had a stroke).

The good thing is that now my brother stopped taking drugs but he needs now help and mostly a work to come back to real life.

The bad thning is that in Greecedue to the crysis the unemployment rate is very high so his chances to get a job are practically zero because he is also rather unstable and could be late in work or so. After this me and my mother would like to try to help him by opening a small shop in my neighbourhood in the city of Thessaloniki and try to put him to work and eventually give him the shop later if he is doing well.

The last i want to say is that my brother doesnt know anything about this yet because he is too shy to ask for help.
