Opening A small gym

Hi.  My name is Ivy.  I am from Malaysia, a single mother of a beautiful daughter myself.  However this campaign is not for me.  I am raising fund for my dearest friend, Betty Gimbat, who is a single mother of 4, 3 daughters and a son.  She is going through a bitter divorce, which cost her a fortune that she doesn't even have.  Her estranged husband left her to bear all living expenses but a very small contribution of $50 a month.  She is working a day job, earning $300 a month, always never enough to cover all her and family's expenses.  She and the kids had to leave the house she bought jointly with her estranged husband, and had to rent a place to live at $100 a month. With all those expenses, she couldn't support her family.  House rent is already outstanding for 4 months now.  The only way is to find other additional income.  Since her passion is in sports and fitness, she has decided to venture into opening a small gym.  All her savings already spent in securing a premise to operate.  She had a deal to purchase used gym equipments from local gym at bargain, $20,000, which market price is at $40,000 to $50,000.  The prospect market is very good as the closest gym is moving and willing to transfer few of its members to her new gym. Your help will help her to cover half of the cost to buy all those gym equipment andn help her to start her business the soonest possible (as her premise rental due on 30th April 2015). WHAT WE NEED AND WHAT YOU GET The fund will be used to buy all the said gym equipments as she needs to close the deal before someone else do the soonest possible.  It will cover half the cost, half of which she is hoping to get by any other way possible.  I am helping her to kick start the business, we are creating a website to promote health and fitness to beginners.  We are hoping to get all of your names there as our contributors.  It will be a very good website, simplifying health and fitness in laymens' term.  Your contribution in any way, be it tips or advice, is very much welcomed. If the fund's target is not met, she will only hopefully be able to use the fund raised to continue with securing the premise and slowly finding other ways to get gym equipment to get it started.  It has to start, we will make it happen, for her, for the children and fro those who are struggling with their health and fitness. WHAT CAN WE GIVE TO THE WORLD Your contribution will help a struggling family to finally breath again.  A small contribution makes the world of difference to them. Besides, it is her goal to give back to the world where her gym will not be too end. It is targeted to help those with problem and interest in health and fitness, no matter from where or what economic state they come from. We are to share our success stories in changing other people's health lives, and we hope to share more and help more through this gym project. OUR RISK AND CHALLENGES Although she is venturing into a business with ready market, the most challenging part is to get funding.  Starting a new business will require more effort to create awareness among the surrounding protential market that this business is now open.  Competition from other more established gyms is also challenging. However, with previous experience in sales and marketing, she is planning a careful but aggressive marketing and promotion plan, using several approach such as attractive pricing, wide coverage ads, loyalty programs and personal advertising.  She has also get a qualified trainer to work in the new gym.
