£3,275.00raised of £3,000.00 goal goal
On the 15th February Open Hearts Open Borders and One Nation are sending a container of aid from Plymouth over to Syria. We want to raise £3000 to pay for the container. Your cash donations will used to ensure that vital aid is shipped.
The winter months are upon us and it is getting colder. There are children and adults who will suffer and even die, if we do not help. The images and reports that are circulating in the news and social media are heartbreaking. No one should be suffering like this. With your help our intention is to ship much needed items and show our continued support for those caught up in this current conflict.
If we exceed our target the money will be used to purchase essential items. This includes sleeping bags, foil blankets, baby food and nappies, thermal underwear, new first aid kits and thermal blankets.
A foil blanket costs approximately 60p. A donation of £36.00 will pay for 50 foil blankets. A sleeping bag is £15, a donation of £60.00 will buy 4 sleeping bags. New socks and underwear would require a donation of only £5.
