This book is a stand for what it means to be a woman today. Now. Not 50 years ago, not even five ... but now. Right. Now. I share my personal journey through sweet surrender and firey forgiveness. This is the story of my own heroine's journey to learn all the different aspects of me.

I am a woman.
And what it means to be a woman is to be … Fierce.
I stand here half-clothed, knowing I am attracting attention, cat calls and judgments, stares and gasps.
But this is all of me. All parts. And I will not cover up because it overwhelms you with passion, desire and lust. I will not cover up because it embarrasses you and makes you uncomfortable. I will not cover up because society deems it inappropriate and sinful. I will not cover up because you are jealous and insecure in your own sexuality.
I will not cover up. I will not stifle my self-expression. I will not.
What I will do is keep my head up. I will strip down to the essence of who I am. I will bare it all.
Years of shame. Years of feeling used.
Years of wondering if you only liked me for my body and not my brains.
Years of closing my heart to you in fear of getting hurt.
Years of mistrust.
Peeled off of me. Shed. Stripped away.
I looked within. I changed my perspective. I started to trust myself. I claimed my self-worth.
And I fell in love with me.
All of me.
There is nothing wrong with me. I am perfect just the way I am.
I am sexy, beautiful, hot and drop dead gorgeous.
I am a bitch who asserts her boundaries and doesn’t tolerate manipulation.
I am compassionate, loving, sweet and vulnerable.
I am human and make mistakes.
I will not compromise any part of myself to please you.
And I give you permission to claim all parts of yourself as well.
When we can truly see, hear and value each other for who we are – all parts – we will create a new world.
Free from judgment, hatred, prejudice and discrimination.
Free from loneliness, disconnection, and unworthiness.
Free from the confines of our own minds.
Free to express our essence.
Free to love unconditionally.
