Campaign Story
My son, Anthony Rafael Nazar Lucas, is scheduled for open heart surgery on August 9, 2022 at Philippine Heart Center.
He will be 6 years old on July 31.
He has congenital heart disease (tetralogy of fallot), wherein open heart surgery is the only way to correct his heart defects.
The funds we'll be raising will be used for his medical expenses.
We'd also like to request for prayers for his successful operation and recovery.
Your prayers and/or financial help is highly appreciated by our whole family, we'll cherish it forever.

Rafael's Road to Recovery

I apologize for not writing an update here, but I am actively writing an update though my FB wall, in my posts and in my comments to my posts.Initially Rafael's surgery was rescheduled on September 19, then suddenly the doctor's secretary texted me if we could make it on Aug. . . . .

Rafael got sick last Friday, tonsillitis. He's currently taking antibiotic.He was scheduled for hospital admission 2 days ago, 2 days before the surgery.I need to bring him first to the cardio-pedia doctor to check him out before we get a new schedule for surgery.Thank you so much to all of

Praying for your son’s successful surgery. My son Dawson was born with a congenital heart defect also (atrioventricular canal defect and coarctation of the aorta — the latter miraculously resolved itself, but the AV canal defect needed open heart surgery). He had his OH surgery 10 months old. He is now turning 5 years old on August 8. Hugs, from one heart mom to another.
