Open Heart Surgery

This is to raise funds for my father, Jimmy Ancheta who was rushed into the hospital on October 1, 2018 and now needing an immediate Open Heart Surgery.

Earlier this year he was rushed to Baguio General Hospital as he was experiencing chest pains. Little did we know that he was already having a heart attack - that time being already the second attack. The attending doctor said at that time that he needed to go undergo angioplasty to remove the blockage in his artery. Since our family did not have any source of funds, we signed a consent form stating that we had rejected treatment. It was a hard decision but we just didn't have any way around. With little to almost no source of income and my mom having not fully recovered from several heart stroke instances, we resulted to just giving medications instead of the expensive procedure. We brought him home to continue medications.

On October 1, he was again complaining about chest pains. I rushed him to the hospital again, but I didn't have much of a choice but to bring him to the nearest hospital - SLU. Though I wanted to bring him to BGH - there was an ongoing parade at that time and there is no way we could reach BGH urgently.

The doctor in SLU advised us that he needs to undergo an Open Heart Surgery. He is currently in NCU and is still continually complaning about chronic chest pains. He's now under morphine. He needs to undergo the procedure as soon as possible. His kidneys are now affected and his heart is becoming weaker by the hour.

Though the family would like to transfer him to BGH to save expenses, that is not possible right now due to his condition. He is battling for survival. He needs urgent treatment. But, our family is struggling to get 1.7M as what the doctors advised as the cost of the operation.

I know this isn't as detailed as the other fundings here in gogetfunding, but this is another way I thought I can make ways to get through this hard situation.
