Only one module to obtain my BSc IT degree

Hi there,

My name is Ulrich. I am 25 years old and for the past 6 years I have been studying towards a BSc IT degree. Full disclosure - this degree is normally done over the course of 3 years and the reason for my doubling that number is my ongoing battle with Depression.

I have been battling Clinical Depression since 2013 and although I'm pretty sure it's been longer than that, 2013 is the year I was diagnosed by a psychiatrist. I admit, it has been a harrowing 6 years. Because of this illness I failed my second and third years. And during this time I managed to survive two suicide attempts having been hospitalised after the latest.

It has taken me almost 10 years to reach a point in my life where I can say that I choose life. I choose to live. Over the years the medical bills have piled up and even though I couldn't afford to finish the Depression Rehabilitation program, I promised myself I will finish my degree. So I have one final module standing between me and obtaining this degree. I am an average student; having obtained a course average of 77% for both a one-year diploma in Software Development and my first year of my degree.
