ONION FARMING BUSINESS STARTUP CAPITAL.

Hello everyone,

My name is Shadrack Atebe from Kenya.

Kenya is a third world country in most development aspects and agriculture is the back-bone of its economy.

As a fresh graduate with no available white collar jobs to absorb the high number of graduates and coming from a poor background, I have thought of all possible ways to restart my life.

Being the firstborn of six siblings with my ageing parents, most responsibilities are shifting to me and this could be overwhelming without a steady source of income.

With a large piece of land as the only asset my poor parents have, I have decided to put it in use by venturing into onion farming business. Onion farming is a manageable due to the short period of 3-4 months it takes to mature for harvesting.

If I can get funds before the end of May 2020, I can start land preparations immediately so that my harvest can begin from December when the production from our neighboring countries is low as explained in my Business plan.
