Ongoing Medical Expenses For David’s Injuries

PAYPAL ACCEPTED HERE! Our Wounded Warrior has suffered an unfortunate accident, causing a snapped humerus just below where it enters into the shoulder socket. If this does not heal properly, surgery will be required. We all so much appreciate the many blessings David has freely given us all at the ICU family. Now during this difficult time, any contribution made would be greatly appreciated. As we all know, stress alone can deepen the pain. Let's all see what we can do to help alleviate some of this stress for David, like he has for many of us. Please know that no amount is too low because love is not measured and yet, it all adds up!

I won’t be able to use my right arm again, barring a miracle. The doc said it's possible that intensive physiotherapy over the course of about a year would improve things, but not guaranteed.

Essentially, the Bangkok Hospital surgeon put what looks like a metal cage into my shoulder socket. When I try to move my arm, the cage tears into the flesh capsule, so my brain instantly cuts off communication to the nerves, paralyzing the muscles to prevent socket damage like internal bleeding and nerve destruction.

The internal metal solution was a bad surgical decision for this kind of injury. They could have used bone cement with shorter screws instead, but there’s an awful lot more money in complex metal fixations. A smaller cage might have worked very well, but not what I was given.

**As some of you may already know, when David moved to his new home, he had no health insurance in place at the unfortunate time of this accident and is still paying for Physician appointments along with the remainder of Radiology/Laboratory bills. Again, he did not ask for this,Tiana and I took it upon ourselves to help him out. IF you can contribute he will be ever so grateful.**
