Help Vietnamese children have a warm winter

We need your help to keep 400 children warm and survive in the harsh mountainous winter area of Hoa Binh Province in Vietnam.

We are Good Neighbors Vietnam (GNV) - an international humanitarian development NGO focusing on community development and child protection. We have been operating Community Development Projects in 4 disadvantaged provinces of Vietnam with more than 15,000 sponsored children and over 200,000 beneficiaries in 16 years in Vietnam.

Every year, children in Lung Van commune have to suffer from harsh and cold weather in mountainous areas without warm coats for up to 8 months. Some bleak cold periods have a freezing ice phenomenon. The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly affected the livelihoods of many people, especially vulnerable children in ethnic minority groups. “Basic need” shelter like food, clean water, or a warm coat is sometimes out of their reach. They can become ill, have hypothermia, face respiratory infections and drop out of school. It could be another harsh blow to vulnerable children in the region, who have already been through so much.

No child should be left in the cold. Every $14 donated can warm 01 child. Good Neighbors Vietnam needs your help to keep 400 children warm and offer them a glimmer of hope that they deserve.
