Who we are: Our goal is to raise funds to help dying patients die with peace and dignity. Their last wish will be being able to speak their mind and have a peaceful death through euthanasia process. We want dying patients to remember live as a happy memory and make their last memory their last wish.

Why: The reason why we started One Last Wish is all because of one day. One year ago, my grandma choked while eating Chinese food. After she choked, she spent three months in the hospital. She couldn’t eat again, talk again, drink again, her muscles weakened so bad she couldn’t walk again. She didn’t leave her house and her days were miserable. She didn’t even watch TV, she felt lonely and she was in a strong depression. The doctor said that part of the food had gone to her lungs. This meant that she was going to die anyways. After she survived the horrendous choke, her survival should have been a miracle but instead, life became a punishment for her. I want this story to change, I want to make a change. A change I would have liked my grandma to live. If suffering can be avoided, why is it illegal in Peru?

When: The money from the funds will be used to send three patients to Switzerland where euthanasia is legal. The more money we get, the more patients we can send. The hospital where they will In Switzerland, they will go through euthanasia in Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Vaudois.
