Hi all,

Each year on 28 May, Is a Menstrual hygiene day. As an awareness day, It's main objective is to highlight the importance of good menstrual hygiene management. In low income societies, girls’ choices of menstrual hygiene materials are often limited by the costs, availability and social norms. Research has found that not having access to menstrual hygiene management products can keep girls home from school during their period each month. As a group of volunteers we wanted to change that. So we came up with this Fund raising campaign that will last until 25th of May, Three days before the due date.

Our mission is to break the silence, raise awareness and change negative social norms surrounding Menstrual Hygiene Management around the world. Alongside with providing education on the subject, we will also be giving pads to some school girls.

What We Need:

Our fundraising goal is $500, about 1,165,200 Tanzanian shillings, which is enough to supply, averagely, 150 girls with sanitary pads. By reaching our goal, we will have the resources to support over 150 young women with feminine hygiene products and educational courses on reproductive health. These courses provide women with a proper knowledge of menstruation and safe sex, empowering them to use what they have learned to advance the well-being of current and future generations.

Thank you in advance your help is much appreciated by the ones in need and of course us volunteers.
