Good day, I hope this reaches you well. I am from the Philippines. I never knew about Guillain Barre Syndrome -GBS until one of my relatives was hit by the disease. GBS is a very rare disease in which the body's immune system strikes the part of the peripheral nervous system, which then results to intense weakness and paralysis. This disorder can worsen and can be life threatening for it potentially interferes breathing and so is considered a medical emergency.

I am a normal citizen who wanted to help a fellow by all means. John Carlo is just 17 years old and has a very promising future. He wanted to become a doctor. He was so full of life until about three months ago. Such disease has shocked every one of us. His parents are hardworking farmers in a small town here in Ilocos Sur, and surely they cannot afford costly treatments for this terrifying disease, but far more cannot afford to lose their only son. So here we are, in all humility, begging you and everyone else to help us in this fight for John Carlo. We have been knocking the golden hearts of so many people for this journey.
