ONCE IN A LIFETIME ROAD TRIP

I will be graduating from high school this May, and to put it simply, I have no idea what I want to do with my life!!! I have decided to embark on the journey of a lifetime with my two best friends this summer! We will be traveling to Glacier National Park, Yellowstone National Park, and Grand Tetons National Park in my 2004 Dodge Durango. You see, my friends (like many of the people in this country today) have not even traveled outside our home state Arizona! Instead of a stereotypical road trip to LA or Seattle, we have decided to explore this country's jewels, national parks!


Personally, I have traveled a lot in my 17 short years. I currently live in a 43 ft. RV with my family. Giving up my worldly possessions and learning how to live a simple lifestyle has taught me many valuable life lessons.

Graduating high school will be a huge milestone in my life, and instead of celebrating it by partying (and making bad choices) I would much rather celebrate it by traveling and showing my friends that there is so much more to life than the brand of your clothing, celebrity gossip, partying, and popularity. THERE IS A WHOLE WORLD OUT THERE WAITING FOR US.

I hope this trip will help me better understand myself, help my friends see the world in a new light, and help me on the path of figuring out what I want to do after high school.
