On The Go

Hello. My name is Crystal.  My goal is to raise $3500 for a down payment for a car. Over the past few years, I was laid off of my job while I was pregant with my daughter and my husbands job cut third shift from the company he was working for. Do to the laid off from our jobs made us sell everything we owned.  As the time went on and no luck on finding a job, bills started to build up. This is where we had to sell our car that we did have at the time. It helped a little at the time but it made it difficult to get around to doctors and food shopping. While struggling over a year we found out that we were going to have an other baby. This time a baby boy. We were happy but afraid at the same time. With no money and no car to get to doctors appointments, we didn't know what was going to happen. Finally my husband found a job as a contractors helper. I am still looking and applying to everything that I can. With my husband working it helped put us back on track but with not the other income coming in, we are not able to put a down payment down on a car that we definaley need. We are spending more money on public transportation and giving people gas money to take us places. The money that we are spending on transportation is enough money to make car payments (or car) and insurance for the car. My husband and I have tried to save money up to put towards a car but unexpected expenses that can not be ignored keep coming up. I need help to get over this hump. Anything is appreciate.
