Omayra’s Medical and Treatment Fund

For those who don't know me, I have been clinically diagnosed with endometriosis at the age of 25 but I have been suffering from the disease since I was 15.

This is a gynecological disease that causes severe pain and is debilitating to daily life. One in ten women have this disease and go misdiagnosed for years. After going through an extensive surgery for severe stage 4 Endometriosis, finding a treatment that helps me cope with this chronic disease has been difficult, unsuccessful and expensive. I have not had any success to finding a cure and I am hoping to raise money to spend on pending lab test exams to follow-up with treatment and with discovering which future treatment might have a higher percentage of working for me and my unique situation.

These funds will help me to pay for the tests required, as well as the pending bills from the different doctors and labs that I have visited and will also go towards discovering better forms of treatment which will hopefully result in a better quality of life. I am hoping to find a treatment that will either cure or at least control my disease from spreading as it is very aggressive and painful and cannot be ignored. If you don't feel pain, I hope you will never feel it. This illness may not be terminal like cancer but it overwhelms women life.

With the average out of pocket cost of Endo treatments at an estimated $25,000 (depending of the condition), and I realize I can't do this alone anymore. One of the hardest things for me is to ask for help but this time I have too much to lose and I really need help and any donation is appreciated.
