MATTHEW BOSCH is a 17 year old student at Westville Boys High School in Durban, South Africa. At the recent SA National Swimming Championships, Matthew swam qualifying times in 100 m and 200 m freestyle events for the FINA Junior World Championships being held in Budapest, Hungary in August 2019.
In 2017 Matthew qualified and was selected for FINA Junior World Championships held in Indianapolis, USA, but due to the high cost and lack of sports funding, Matthew was unable to participate.
Enabling Matthew to participate at this prestigious event will be a stepping stone on his dream journey of making the SA Olympic Swimming Team.
