Hello, my name is Luka and this is my Olympic dream.
I'm an artist who got the chance to represent my country and myself on the World Breaking Championship in Nanjing (China), by winning Croatian qualifiers which gave me the opportunity to qualify for the Olympics . First of all, I'm a student in the Faculty of Kinesiology in Zagreb and I don't really have enough money to cover the cost of a flight ticket to China, because getting knowledge is mostly not free. Since I've been taking part in this dance for about 10 years, I have felt many ups and downs in my dancing career and there have been a lot of doubts which path to take. I was wondering if I should keep practising and putting most of my time in this art form, which we call breaking, spending money on traveling just to express myself in front of others or I should just keep on studying, find a regular job, be like any other normal person. Mostly, I've been asking myself if it is all worth it, spending so many hours practising and making effort, and yet I don't know if it will ever pay off. Eventually, breaking opened many doors of opportunities for us, it looks more professional everyday and this is definitely one of the best chances I will get. With your help, I will try and do my best to make my dream come true.
