Olive’s Ghana Fund

Hiiiya, Olive here. Over the past week I've made this spontaneous and slightly crazy decision to volunteer with Plan My Gap Year in Ghana between the 3rd and 24th of July. PMGY.com is a volunteer led organisation that is committed to providing partnership in local communities to make a longer, more sustained impact. For my volunteering I will be teaching English as a foreign language in schools. I love geography, travelling and adventure and those who are close to me will know that I recently had a nasty back injury. Much to my frustration, due to my injury I had to postpone doing a trip like this. Many months in bed and two operations later I am free and can begin to liveeee!

It goes without saying that I've never done anything like this before and as it turns out it's actually prettttty pricey (who knew??!). The trip is soon and I still need money to fund my CRB check, visa, vaccinations, anti-malaria tablets, flights and more (yes that's the sound of me panicking you can hear). Any donation of any size would be awesome and if you do decide to donate I am eternally grateful.
