Old Couple Won’t Ask For Help! Lets Surprise Them!

The Damp has destroyed their home! My father in law suffered a heart attack a few years back which resulted in him having to undergo a triple heart bypass.   What made things even worse is that they bought theyre "dream home" only to find out the entire property had a severe case of rising damp.  The damp was so bad it broke the boiler, rusted alot of metal, destroyed skirtingboards and ruined all previous paintwork.                                                                                                                                                                                                   Through the years they have made numerous attempts with different contracters to fix the problem, only to fail. costing them there entire savings they had saved to renovate the property.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       Last summer it seemed they finally had a bit of luck, someone had identified the problem and  within 2 weeks had solved it! It was costly and completely drained the couple again! of all money that she makes working nights at a care home. But still they solved it!                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        At this point in time the house has dried out, but the damage has been done. They bought a money pit which has exhausted them causing both her and her disabled husband a load of stress. Costs for the medication and time taken to care for my father in law have restricted his wife from rebuilding her home!                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                And so heres where you and i come in!                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             Im Ryan a 21 year floor layer, i have been on home developement projects since 14 working for my dad! I can paint and lay flooring and my brother is a plumber who has also offered to not only install the basin, toilet and bath, but also tile the entire project. for FREE!                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 They really need our help guys but they arn't willing to ask anyone for it!                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     Here is my plan in its most basic form.                                                                                                                                                                                            I want to start by removing the skirting and tiling, and any wall fixtures (shower, mirror cabinet ect.)  Next i will begin removing the bath basin and toilet, they are chipped and a nasty pale green colour. Next is to clean the entire room. I will then paint the walls and ceiling, followed by laying the flooring and then installing the new skirting. Next my brother will come in and install all the bathroom, sink and basin, he will then tile the project. add a bit of silicone here and there.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 And volaa!
