Raising funds for our dearest mom, Ofelia

UPDATE: As of July 4, all of the examination results were released and the final diagnosis of the doctors is that our mom's breast cancer is at stage 4.

Our Mom Ofelia was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer and the doctors mentioned that the lumps on her left breast are too large to be surgically removed. The recommendation is to do chemotherapy first and then proceed with the surgery. Our family did some research and found that going through the treatment would entail a lot of money.

Given that there’s a pandemic, it’s hard to acquire source of income, hence we decided to place this fundraising post. Our mom has always been our shield, confidant, and provider, and it is now our time to give her the best care available to rid her body of the disease with nothing else in mind but her recovery.

Considering the amount that we need to raise, we are worried that our funds would not be enough to suffice our mom’s needs until her treatment ends. Any amount would truly help our family in these trying times. Also, we would appreciate your prayers and words of encouragement so our mom would continue to fight her battle with more courage and support.
