OceansAsia – Shark Campaigns

OceansAsia.org is a marine conservation organisation set up in Asia 4 Asia. We operate a small team that conducts investigations and research into the shark fin trade, as well as other ocean issues.

We tackle the issues head-on, on the front lines in Hong Kong at the 'Ground Zero' of the shark fin industry. Besides our regular street patrols observing the shark fin industries shops, warehouses and drying facilities we also look at shipments arriving to determine where they have come from, who carried them and this goes to help us build a intelligence network that spans the globe. Knowing who is in business with who.
