Oceans 5 Food Bank Appeal

Dear Oceans 5 friends,

COVID-19 is having an impact on us all. Especially for the people whose livelihood depends on tourism; which has provided them with jobs and money to feed their families. Currently we are still under restriction to protect our little island. Many of our local staff have returned home to be with their families on Lombok, with only a few of us remaining on the island. The Oceans 5 family are fit and well and taking precautions to protect our close-knit community.

Unable to return to the island, our local manager has set up a food bank from his home on Lombok. For 150,000 IDR (less than 10 EUR each) we have organised care packages of day-to-day items including; rice, eggs and vegetables to feed their families. But we know that there are more in need.

Our team is united as ever and we just want to look after each other in these uncertain times. Having food in your belly is one less thing to worry about.

So please may I ask that you spread the word, share and donate if you can. A little can go a long way here.

We hope to be able to continue our support and help more families pull through this. Any funds donated will be used to buy food, which will be distributed to those who have difficulty purchasing enough to avoid hunger.
