"Award winning film has it's finger on the pulse by highlighting the critical need for reform and restructuring of corporations, some of which seem too big to fail in our world today!" To watch film on Vimeo please go to: http://vimeo.com/42010986

WHY I MADE THIS FILM:

I made the film in an attempt to "revitalize" the Occupy movement and raise public awareness about the ongoing housing crisis. "We" the people can make a difference if we're willing to come together and unite at the grass roots level. Gandhi said, "Be the change you want to see in the world." The time is now.

I lost my job in early 2007, at the beginning of the Wall Street meltdown, and then after long term unemployment, I lost my home in 2010. It wasn't until friends and family members around the country started losing homes that I realized it wasn't just my problem. It was a much bigger problem than that.

It's been six years and there's still a big disconnect between the banking industry and homeowners desperately clinging to the hope they'll be able to hang on to their homes. A dream that has become a nightmare for many.

In 2012 I decided to take a film class at NW Documentary Film School. I was a first-time film student wanting to make a film that examined the Occupy Movement, focusing on political aspects as well as personal and professional issues within the banking industry.

The Occupy movement may have cooled down but problems persist within the housing industry. Chances are you might know someone who's losing their home or has lost a home. Or if they're like me, they may be too ashamed or embarrassed to tell anyone. I want to take this film to Cannes as a reminder that the struggle continues for homeowners and that each one of us can make a difference. "Together we are unstoppable!" I'm just trying to do my part.
