Campaign Story
Update: 8 July 2019
Thank you very much to all who have donated!
Our Daddy Oscar, was sent home 22 June 2019 but had to return to another hospital 27 June because of his high fever and decreasing blood pressure.
But unfortunately, on 28th of June, around 10 in the evening, he succumbed to pneumonia. Had he been discharged in 8 June, he would have avoided hospital infections. Thanks to The Medical City hospital and their promissory note policy. He was 68.
We are now burdened with an outstanding hospital bill of Php 400,000 to fully pay the hospital in a span of 2 months. I hope there are still people out there who could share and help us ease the pressure and burden.
Thank you and may God continue to bless your kind hearts.
On the night of 12 May 2019, our father Oscar C. Bañaga was rushed to Medical City, Pasig City after complaining of numbness on left arm and face. He suffered a stroke and unfortunately went to coma.
We've been doing everything we can to take care of our beloved father, to give him a chance to recover. But the overwhelming daily expenses in hospital stay, medications, laboratory procedures, physical therapy sessions, and doctors fees are making it more and more difficult for us, his family to keep up.
We'd appreciate any amount you can share, and if you can spread this campaign to your friends. If you wish to contribute directly us, you may deposit at this bank account:

Thank you and may God bless your kind hearts.
Sincerely,
Louis, Maureen, and Jon Bañaga

Deferred discharge...
Update posted by Louie Banaga at 12:43 amAs of today 13 June 2019, my Dad is still in hospital. He was scheduled to be discharged 8 June (Saturday), unfortunately the HOSPITAL POLICY required us to pay at least 50% of the total bill amounting to around Php980,000++ (and counting) we only had Php210,000 in our hand that. . . . .
Homeward bound...
Update posted by Louie Banaga at 12:33 amMy father is about to be discharge as per doctor's advice, to send him home while we wait for him to wake up. This is necessary as he is more vulnerable to infections while inside the hospital..But the professional fees and hospital bills are way TOO OVERWHELMING. I hope we
A light of hope...
Update posted by Louie Banaga at 12:09 amThe recent visit of his neuro doctor was quite positive, as she regarded my dad's case as (probably rare) because of his spontaneous reaction to stimuli (movements), yawning, eye/pupil movements. My dad is scheduled to be transferred to an regular room; he's been breathing on his own for almost a week
