Campaign Story
Hi! My name is Amaya Dressler. I am 17, and a high school junior in a small, rural town in PA. My passion is filmmaking/screenwriting/directing.
I am most honored and thrilled to have been accepted into NYU/Tisch School of the Arts/Summers at Tisch -Young Filmmakers Workshop. This is an amazing, rigorous and highly-regarded 4-week Summer Intensive in Manhattan for rising seniors. Here, I will develop and hone my skills, and begin to make a difference in the world via filmmaking. I will write, develop and produce my own film-short, which will be showcased at the Angelika Theater in NYC.
The cost of this program will run upwards of $13,000, which is a bit prohibitive for my family. My dad is disabled/retired and we live on a fixed income.
I am reaching out with the hope that you might consider helping me realize my dreams and career goals by donating any amount to this cause (no amount too small).
