Our Pop Up Restaurant - THE BOX - is a one night business enterprise run by students to raise money for the NYC iSchool. Students will decorate the dining area, prepare the food, and welcome and serve 75 guests. We need to purchase ingredients for all of our recipes (the restaurant has a "Food Truck" theme) and the service and design elements to make THE BOX a big hit!
All proceeds will benefit the NYC iSchool to fund college search programs, extracurricular activities (music, debate, Model UN, sports teams), and the green roof planned for our school building. We project our expenses to be $900, and we hope to make a profit from this event to give back to the school community.
