Nyarugunda Secondary School

Hello friends, family and supporters!

A little under a year has passed since I ran my first marathon to raise money for Nyarugunda Secondary School. This little school was started to give children who would have to travel vast distances in dangerous conditions a chance at getting an education. (Click the youtube link above to see our trip) Thanks to the amazing support last year we were able to raise £1450 (target was £1000) which funded the entire schools fees plus enabled them to build another classroom to extend the school by another 50 students.

So what's next? Well on Saturday my sister Tania, her boyfriend Joe and myself are going to be doing the three peaks challenge. This involves climbing the three biggest mountains in the U.K. (Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pile in England and Snowden in Wales) in 24 hour. The flights are booked, the shoes are worn in and the Jelly Babies are ready to be devoured.

So once again I am asking for your support. I don't want to guilt you or sell you a sob story but if you think it would be cool to give a kid a chance at an education to help their family, their communties and themselves then I would be very grateful. Last year we managed to change the lives of the children on Nyarugunda in a small yet significant way. My simple hope is to do that again for as many of the students as possible.
