Campaign Story
Hi, I am NyarfNyarf Nibble Wiggle Bork Bark WiffWaffWoof, a hugely gigantic good girl Rottweiler. I have several big and small cysts and hemorrhoids that need surgery. My humans and I need your help.
Before I can get surgery though, the veterinarians said that I need to improve my platelet count. They found out I have low platelet levels because I also have Anaplasmosis, Babesiosis, and Ehrlichiosis, all blood borne tick diseases. But before I can take my full dose of antibiotics and other medication for my ABE, I also need to keep improving my liver values. I think I just got bad luck with all of these medical issues but let's all try to turn that around!
My humans, Keith and Heide adopted me when I was already 2 years old. I already had all of these medical conditions. They just want me to be healthy and were my neighbors ever since I was a puppy. My previous human had to give me up for adoption because of the COVID-19 lockdowns and he was reassigned to a far away place for work.
I am currently taking my 2nd 2-week set of medications, after which, I will get blood tests again to see if I will be healthy enough to get surgery. I am going to turn 3 years old on August 22, 2021 and I hope to be healthy by then.
Meanwhile, I will continue to be a very good girl to humans, my brother Bubot (Labrador Retriever), cousin to Starla (Aspin), and surrogate mother slash yaya to Vico, Tarzan, and Starla's as of yet unnamed puppies.

Latest blood test results
Update posted by Keith Bacalso at 02:17 amThese are Nyarf2's latest bloodwork. Better results, the anemia and low platelets have been managed. However, the docs say the high eos results could point to a heart problem which needs to be fixed before surgery. We're still raising funds not just for surgery but the medication and check-ups. Thanks guys! Even without an alarm clock, NyarfNyarf remembers her routine and prompts us so that she can take her meds!
