Nutrition Education Project

Its always been a passion of mine to help others achieve a higher level of health through food and nutrition. This summer I want to give back to those who are less fortunate and make an impact so I am traveling to Indonesia to provide basic nutrition education to schools and communities.

I will be traveling with IVI (Involvement Volunteers International) and under this program I will be contributing to the development of nutrition education in Ubud through teaching basic nutrition, and methods to maintain personal health in community centres and schools. The aim of this project is to provide free nutritional & healthcare services for the prevention of many avoidable health problems and easily communicable diseases prevalent in developing countries like Bali.

With that being said, I am looking to help raise funds to get to Ubud, and also to help cover program costs and materials to create workshops and interactive lessons to the children and people of Ubud.
