Nursing School

     Hi my name is Janette.  I have been in college taking two classes per quarter for a very long time.  I am a mom of two children and a wife to a wonderful man.  Five years ago, my life changed when my husband had a work related injury.        Since that day, my husband has been on L&I with many back surgeries under his belt.  I know my husband can not go back into the work force; therefore, I am trying to better myself for my families sake and mine.       I have been in the medical field for twenty years.  I worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for 16 years at nursing homes and at a hospital.  This was while taking my pre requisits and working full time.  After my pre requisits were done, I changed positions.      I needed to change my job, because I got into LPN school.  I started working as a emergency technician in a level two trauma hospital.  I worked night shift, thirty hour weeks, and nursing school full time.  I made it and now I am a LPN at a internal medicine clinic.  I am not stopping there.       I found out in June that I was accepted into a Registered Nursing program.  This has been my dream since I was a little girl.  I am passionate about helping and healing others in my community.  I am so excited about furthering my education.  This is something my children can remember and hopefully be a good example for them.  I have received loans for all of my college edducation.  I am already at $22,000 in dept to our goverment, and this program is going to be about $10,000 more.  I feel really akward posting this, but I truely need help.  Thank you for even considering.
