Nursing School

I am a Sophmore in college.  Up until now I have yet to be able to complete my schooling due to financial responsibilites.  I am 27 years old and have been accepted into two programs, yet I am still working on trying to save up enough money to do so.  I have ambitions, yet I also have tremendous responsibility!  I work full-time at a hospital and I draw blood here daily, waking up at 4:15AM to be at work.  I am a good worker and work hard for the money I do make but I have a dream of being able to support a family one day, or at least being able to be a contributor to my family.  I have also worked in healthcare for almost 5 years now; therefore, I know what I am capable of doing after watching all departments around the hospital and seeing their positions with patient care.  I have an overwhelming care for others and I know that I will make a great nurse one day!

Along with my caring emotionally about others, my mother and I are constantly trying to help anyone we are able to.  Friends of mine would tell you in a heartbeat that I would and will give my last remaining to dollar to help someone.  A good friend of mine with children once needed a kitchen table, I had one and no children or anyone to eat at the table with me, so I gave it to her and only asked that she GIVE it to someone in need when she decided to give it up.  I did not want her to take it to a donation enter because people still have to pay for those items, I wanted her to simply give it to someone she knew would use, appericate, and need it. 

On top of fund raising (and working), I have also began making homemade goods and starting to attend arts festivials to sell these items, such as homemade natural body products along with homemade lip balm.  I am hoping I may be able to get those who view my page to at least donate a dollar.  A dollar spread among many people will add up and along with this dollar I am hoping to make up enough lip balm to send the donators.  This balm will be homemade and all natural.  I state all natural so many times because I am a huge supporter in trying to not use so many chemicals on my body.
