On the morning of July 24, Nubbin was the same happy, energetic Corgi she'd always been. But by the afternoon she was having trouble walking, eating and relieving herself. The vet diagnosed her with bladder stones and Nubbin was rushed into emergency surgery. Despite having the stones successfully removed, the next morning Nubbin's organs inexplicably began to fail and she was given a 30% chance of survival.
Luckily Nubbin is a fighter. Her rate of survival has steadily improved, but she is still in critical condition and under veterinary care for the next few days. If her family can't pay her bills they will have to take her off of care.
Right now Nubbin's veterinary bills are over $3,000, and she's not out of the woods yet. We're working with the vet to try to reduce the fees, but have not been successful. Please help us save Nubbin -- a donation, no matter how small, will make a difference.
