Hello everyone. My name is Ntshebetseng and I live in Johannesburg, South Africa. I am currently finishing my final year of high school and have decided that I want to become a pilot. I've always had a passion for flying and now that I am old enough, I want to begin my journey. I also know that there are not many black, female pilots in South Africa's industry and I want to pave the way for younger girls and show them that they can do anything they put their minds to. The only thing holding me back is my financial situation.

My mom is a nurse and my dad is a minister, sadly these occupations don't receive a high salary. When I told them what I wanted to be and how much it would cost, which is R130 000 ($10 000), they told me it would be a bit of a struggle but that they would do everything in their power to get me there. I want to be a pilot not only for my passion but also to abe able to thank my parents richly for everything they have done and continue to do for me.

The R130 000 ($10 000) that I am raising will be used to pay for textbooks, final examinations and other learning materials. It will also cover the cost of the extensive flying hours that I have to complete in order obtain the qualification (PPL) as well as the medical examinations.

I am a hard-working student who never gives up. I was elected head of my schools cultural committee and was awarded drama honours and a drama service award for continued excellence in drama. This shows that I persevere in everything I do and that your money will be put to good use.

I implore you to please donate anything you possibly can to help me achieve my goal. Thank you.
