Help my Granddad

This is for my Oupa,

I am asking anyone who is able to help, to help me help him.

He is 72 years old and still has to go to work to provide for my gran and himself. Their pension only covers their medication each month. He now has to go for a spinal operation or else he will loose his ability to walk and go to work. This will destroy my granddad... And he is in so much pain, I can't bear seeing him in so much pain. He has always been the kind of man that never let his pain show, but it's so severe he can't hide it, not even over the phone.. To be confined to a wheelchair and not be able to provide for his wife and himself will devastate him because it is what he has done since he was 17. He has been in the army and fought wars. He has been a devoted family man and savior to anyone who was in need. Whether it be money, food or security he was and still is there when anyone needs him. But now he needs us and we don't have the finances to help him. I am reaching out to all of you and begging you to please help me help him. I don't have my dad in my life so my oupa has been my father figure, my hero. In a couple years when I finally get married, I would like him to walk me down the isle and give me away like all fathers should. It would be possible for him to do this in a wheelchair as well, but I fear he may not last that long in a wheelchair... He is my everything and I can't imagine life without him. I still need him, my gran still needs him, our family still needs him. He is the foundation of who we are and he needs help. Please, anyone who can, help him<3
