Not a hand out but a helping hand.

A few years back my son had to have open heart surgery. Thanks to that life saving surgery he now lives a full and happy life without any complications. We thank God for the Hospital and surgeons that performed the procedure and all of the supporting staff that provided extra care in our time of need.

Being responsible we wanted to pay our bills for this and being inexperienced with a debt of this size I thought it would be a good idea to pay the Doctors and Hospital what was owed via my credit cards. As many of us know that using them is a double edged sword. While beneficial in the ability to get things and pay over time the consequences of this amount on credit cards with the interest is not something that is prudent.

I have been making the payments on time over the years but unfortunately have not been able to keep up. I am now worse off than before and it is taking a toll on my family both physically and emotionally. I never thought things would come to this but I am at this point as a last resort. What waits on the horizon is the dreaded B word and that is a surrender in our eyes. We want to pay what we owe but don't know how we can accomplish that.

All I ask is that you find it in your hearts to help out in any way possible.
