Campaign Story
Hi! I'm King and I am organizing a fund raising for my long-time hero -- my dad.
On July 21, 2020, my dad, NOE B. BADONG was diagnosed with pneumonia. He was advised by the doctor that he needs to be admitted already however due to limited hospital capacity, we had to bring him home.
Since his diagnosis, we contacted more than 11 hospitals but none has an available room thus we were forced to isolate my dad in our masterβs bedroom for almost two days.
On the morning of July 23, 2020, we saw our dad tired and was panting heavily to get some air. We knew we had to bring to him to any emergency room (ER) at whatever cost.
A family friend called us just in time informing us that a slot opened up in Fatima University Medical Center (FUMC) where my dad can be admitted. Upon arriving at its ER, my dad's oxygen saturation was already at 55%. It was a life-saving call.
He was intubated that same night.
The COVID swab test result was issued on July 25, 2020. His result came out POSITIVE. He was then transferred to the Intensive Care Unit for close monitoring.
Unfortunately, my dad suffered three (3) cardiac arrest due to complications. He is currently on a critical state but we are still hoping for him to recover and win his fight against this novel virus.
Our running bill has already exceeded 1.5 million pesos ($30564.28 USD) this amount still does not reflect the fees of our doctors/attending physicians. This is why I am asking for donations to help my family pay my dad's medical expense.
No amount is too small for this cause. Fifty (50) cents or one (1) peso will reach a long way. I know that these are difficult times for everyone and I know that most of you have your own financial obligations. Our family will definitely understand if you cannot help monetarily but we humbly ask you to include my father in your prayers.
Prayers are powerful. After all, NOE-thing is IMPOSSIBLE!
