This Christmas Eve will be my 22nd birthday and I wanted to make it more special by giving away free bucket meals for families celebrating Christmas on the streets.

Okay so for those who don't know me yet, I'm an only child with both parents working on a local zoo. So you can only imagine how busier they are on holidays like Christmas. We are not like typical filipino family where mom cooks and prepares everything while we help in decorating christmas tree and boughs. Although we used to do those things when I was a kid but then after my mom quit her office work because she's already old (I think she's turning 60 this year), she took this job at a canteen as a cook because she really loves cooking. Ever since I was a kid, I am mostly unattended on my birthday. Like people just give me gifts but I don't really have anyone to celebrate my birthday with since my friends have Christmas preparations on their own with their families.

So, I thought of treating some street children on my birthday, which I have been doing inconsistently due to lack of funds or when my depression eats me.

I have been diagnosed with severe depression last May 2017 and I haven't been able to resume my remaining subject in college, making me lose my spot on the scholarship. So I started working this February after somehow finishing my medication. It helped me a lot to have something to do that is other than my course which is Architecture. I still want to be an architect but I know I gotta long way to go. And I have to earn for my tuition at another school as well. While this may be another issue to talk about, I would just like to share this part of me because you might be thinking, 5,000 lang why can't I just earn for it. I've also got bills to pay and I had to support for my parents as well, even though they're not asking I know they're also struggling to pay for the house. And my salary for being an internet cafe attendant is just halfway to the minimum wage. Pero gusto ko talaga gawin to. So help me guys. That is how I want to end my 2018. This year have been so good to me, a lot of healing was done and so I wanna give back or pass it forward. It helps to know and feel that even though amidst my personal struggles in life I am still able to help or share some blessings or just simply be a blessing.

This is my first time to actually try crowdfunding so I don't know yet how to properly do these things. But I would just like people to know about my birthday plans. Everything is on scratch yet. But the idea is that I wanna share a bucket meal for every family on the streets who got little to no noche buena on Christmas Day. Kasi I feel them. Although mine was only because my parents are tired from work so we rather buy take-out food instead of cooking and just sleep the night while sila kahit walang wala talaga, they will find a way to put food on their table macelebrate lang yung pasko ng magkakasama.

So ayun. I'll update you guys maybe twice a month as the plan itself solidify. Hopefully we reach the target and if sumobra mas maganda, 22 buckets on my 22nd birthday? Why not? Or maybe I could add some toys or clothes or something essential. Feel free to give me your thoughts regarding this. If you have any suggestions please message me. I appreciate it so much.

Ayun, thanks in advance sa mga makakapansin. God bless!
