Nobody’s Child

It happened in a jail.

The jail had the best reputation of all the jails in the country.   It had no drug-related records, no violence, and no hard stories for a decade. There is no way a prisoner could have a contact with another prisoner, male or female, at any time during his or her stay!  However, a woman prisoner gives birth to a baby….

They conducted a vigorous and thorough investigation; an exhaustive DNA testing of all males –regardless they had contact with her or not, in the three years she has been an inmate, and various threatening by the Warden to all members of his staff; they were unable to find an explanation of her pregnancy…

Emily Young, the prisoner claims a Holy Spirit, or God visited her, and she got pregnant after that visit! Six weeks of fruitless investigation, the Warden starts to believe in miracles. Suddenly, by accident, they find the father of the 'child'! He is an ex-prisoner, wrongly jailed for two years for a crime he never committed.

The system ‘pardons’ Emily (for the uniqueness of her situation) with one ultimatum: she must marry the baby’s father and raise her in a warm family environment! She agrees with the court ruling and marries Mr. Nobody. However, though they both love their child, the father and mother cannot live together in the same room and have only contact through closed doors and written messages. On the night of the baby's first birthday, they have a wild argument, and both return to their solitude. They decide to make a fatal move, and return to jail rather than live the way they lived in the last 10 months! Will they commit suicide? Will they kill one another? Will they kill the baby I? …

I need $50,000, or an investor to make the move! I have the novel (it will be published before December 2012), and the movie script (based on the novel) almost completed. I need a group of interested people to join me in this venture. I want to make the movie using only 'AMATOUR' artist and staff! I believe it will be a great success, as the story is unique and 'the first of its kind'...
