Noah our Brave Warrior

Born last August 11, 2017, Noah Sage filled our hearts with so much love and joy. Just like new parents we were ecstatic, exhausted and happily overwhelmed with all the new changes a new born brings. Then a couple of days before we were about to celebrate his 4th month, Noah developed a high fever. He was then confined in the hospital for Dengue and was later on diagnosed with 3 other illnesses Bacterial Meningitis, Pediatric Community Acquired Pneumonia and Intestinal Amoebiasis. On his 2nd day of confinement he was having seizures which was caused by excess fluid pressure in his brain (medically termed as subdural effusion). We were then transferred to the ICU for close monitoring of his condition. On December 12, Noah had to undergo Burr Hole Procedure wherein they created 2 holes in his skull in order to drain out that fluid. By God's mercy, Noah was able to pull through the operation with no complications. We were told by his Neurosurgeon that they were able to extract pus in his head which they were not expecting since they thought it was only fluid or blood. They already took out the tubes from both sides.

Our heart aches every time we see him in so much pain but it is through Noah's bravery where Garry and I get our strength from. We always tell him he is a very brave little boy. So as we are on the road to Noah's recovery, our hospital bill has also been adding up. Even with the use of Noah's health insurance worth 300 K it is still not enough to cover for our running balance as of to date. We will do anything for as long as we will be able to bring him home soon and that includes humbly knocking on your doors, asking for any amount that you can give to help us financially. Everyday, we are fighting the unknown, Noah is still under observation and we were told by his doctors that he still has to complete his antibiotics for a few more weeks. By God’s grace and mercy, together with the prayers of family, friends and people like you that we are fighting the good fight of faith. We thank you for taking the time to read this.
