I have been feeding many stray cats; trying to keep them warm and somewhat sheltered in my back yard. This past summer there were at least 8 kittens born. At this point I am feeding at least a dozen cats. I have been paying to get them spayed and neutered, which involves trapping, taking to vet, keeping in house while recover for a couple of days, then release. This is absolutely necessary to keep population down. I earn $8.25 an hour, so this is quite difficult. I know this is not a unique situation, but I'm trying to do what I can. I encourage people to spay and neuter their pets and keep them from roaming. If you cannot keep them, take them to a shelter. Thanks for your compassion and understanding.
