Campaign Story
We are in need of a family car. Currently it takes us up to 100min to get to our daughters doctor, and just about 3hrs to make it to my wifes OBGYN (no exaggerations). Of course if we could, we would get doctors in our area, but these are the doctors that accept our insurance. Anywhere in town we need to go, I usually take the bus and/or ride my bike which is strenuous having to carry both a child and a backpack full of groceries.
The winters are really bad for us, seeing as currently my daughter has an ear infection and it's +/- 38F outside. Having to subject her to cold weather while sick just makes her worse. Going to the doctor may help with the ear infection, but at the cost of catching a cold or the flu which makes it redundant. We already have a car in mind, but would need a down payment which is the purpose of our fundraiser.
