’Injustice anywhere, is a threat to justice everywhere’. - Martin Luther King

’All it takes for evil to triumph is for good men and women to do nothing’.

’Even the worst of the worst deserve a fair trial and due process’.

Justice is a Human Right. Yet, the denial of justice has never been easier. Many people are being denied justice, because we take justice for granted, believing that the Courts will give us justice anyway, even if we don’t make any effort to ensure that we get justice. The more we take justice for granted, the easier it is for us to become victims of gross and often deliberate miscarriages of justice.

Those who deny us justice are not outsiders, but the Courts, Judges, the Justice system itself, and the individuals who work within it. Denial of justice is insider abuse. It is similar to the type of insider abuse committed by bankers that nearly led to the collapse of the national and international banking system. It is often said, ’To lie successfully, you have to know the facts’. Only insiders are best-placed to abuse the justice system.

Without vigilance, there is no justice. We watch your back even when you are not watching. We can’t deal with every case of injustice, but the more we try, the less the chances of future miscarriages of justice.

Philipino-born nurse, Victorino Chua, is the latest victim of a gross miscarriage of justice. Victorino Chua was recently convicted of multiple murders and multiple attempts to commit murder, and sentenced to life, with a recommendation that he serve a minimum of 35 years. That is a murder conviction and thirty-five years based on ’No Evidence’ whatsoever, because the ’so-called evidence’ on which he was convicted is not even good enough evidence to charge someone for the commonest type of burglary. This utterly ridiculous conviction, deprives the relatives of the deceased of a chance to discover the real truth about how their loved ones died. It is morally reprehensible for anyone to lie to and deceive relatives of the deceased in such a cruel manner. They set out to hold someone responsible for unexplained deaths at this hospital. Some people decided that a Philipino nurse would do.

Sadly, the Court is no longer a place where you go to get justice. Of course, you can get justice in a Court of Law. It is equally possible for you to be victimised by the Courts. Going to Court shouldn’t be a gamble. We expect and deserve to get justice from a Court all of the time, not some of the time.

At No Justice, we recognise that the battles that decide questions of fact, evidence, guilt or innocence are no longer fought inside the Court. They take place on the outside. These days, the Courts often rubber-stamp an agenda that’s already been set outside the Court. The principle of ’judicial rigor’ has ceased to exist. Judgements no longer emerge from or result from the destination that the evidence has led us to, but they increasingly rely on the whim of judicial officers, or the mistaken belief that an outcome is likely to meet public approval. We now have a justice system where the facts no longer matter. That’s why defence lawyers seem incapable of defending you against the most outrageous assault on your fundamental rights and freedoms. Even the Appeal Courts seem incapable of swiftly correcting glaring and extremely obvious cases of judicial abuse or miscarriages of justice.

It seems as if you want justice, you must have to fight for it. We know the score and we know how to fight ’Trench Warfare’. We know how to turn the tables on all those who through incompetence, negligence, cynicism or dishonesty, use the powers of the Courts to discriminate or to victimise innocent people. Just give us your material support and we will sort out the rest. Thanks.
