Mr. Muhammad Nur Ramu or often called Pak Ramu is a dedicated teacher for more than 15 years. In 2004, he initiated to build Nurul Iman Benteng Elementary School as a free school for the children in Golo Pongkor Village, Komodo, West Manggarai, Eas Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. Since the establishment of this school, Mr. Ramu has served as a teacher as well as principal.

Despite having served dozens of years in the field of education, until now Mr. Ramu doesn't have a house. He, his wife and his four children were forced to live in the teacher's room which was only partitioned with a single plywood. His earning is not much. He couldn’t afford to buy a house. Even a small one.

"It does not matter having to stay in school. What’s important to me is I can still teach my students," said Mr. Ramu.

Mr. Ramu is a passionate and highly spirit teacher. He has a huge vision and still working hard to bring accessible and affordable education for children in East Nusa Tenggara as one of Indonesian remote areas.
Let’s appreciate his spirit with building him a house. A proper one.
Thanks for your support.
