Nina and her dogs need you!

Hi, my name is Nina-Mari and this is my little family. It consists of me, my younger sister, our 4 dogs and 2 cats. My parents moved away over a year ago and since then it's just been the 8 of us. Things have been difficult, but we have managed to get by so far. Unfortunately, we have recently had problems at the place where we live and we can no longer stay there with our dogs. Now we need to move to a pet-friendly place urgently, but we are unable to afford paying a deposit and rent. That's why we need your help!

Our parents send us as much money as they can each month and despite being a full-time student, I am also a tutor at the university of Pretoria. This money is still barely enough to cover our food and fuel each month after rent has been paid. I am sure things will be easier once I get another job (I have an interview for an au pairing job soon), but for now our best bet is asking for the help of others. Our pets are our family and we love them very dearly. We really do not want to lose them. Please help our little family stick together!

I have set the goal at $3 000 and this is to cover estimated rent, deposit and basic appliances (like a refrigerator and washing machine) since we currently do not own any. I cannot know for sure what rent will end up costing and that is why I tried to set a goal that I feel will safely cover it. I am still looking for a pet-friendly place and they are difficult to find (and tend to be pricey).

P.P.S. Any help would be appreciated. If you are South African and happen to know of a pet-friendly place or someone who would be willing to take us and our babies (or even just our babies) in for a while, please contact us. Any place within about 10 km of the university would be the best.
