Night Canvas Pyro – Affordable Fireworks Displays

Welcome and thank you for your interest in Night Canvas Pyro! My name is Greg (Pyro G) and I have a passion for creating amazing entertainment through the combined use of music, video, lights and fireworks! This crowdfunding campaign has been reopened to help raise the money needed to purchase fireworks to perform displays and PyroMusicals for charity events at no cost to the charity.

Although I've loved fireworks since I was a child, my passion was born in October 2013. I was dating my wife, Renee, at the time and we were invited to a private fireworks display at a friend's house. We were promised amazing and what we got cannot be described by words! In the middle of the display, Renee told me for the first time the words everyone loves to hear, "I LOVE YOU!" At that moment I couldn't hear the explosions of the fireworks any longer. I could only hear her voice. Ever since that day I have had a passion to recreate such moments through my own artistry in consumer pyrotechnics!

The money raised with this campaign will go towards many of the fireworks shells and effects cakes needed to perform simple fireworks displays and PyroMusicals at fundraising events for a variety of charitable organizations. The idea is to provide this service to those charities for free so they can focus on their fundraising! Your contribution will help make that happen.

Night Canvas Pyro takes safety very seriously and I work very closely with Dan (Mortar D), who is a career firefighter. He ensures everything we do is done safely and with the appropriate amount of caution. We conduct a full site survey and create a site plan for every show we perform. During the site survey we identify the proper location of all water supplies to be ready in the event of fire and the position of all spotters and monitors. Spectators are always located outside the fallout zone to prevent injuries.

So, you are probably wondering what it is we really do. In the very basic sense, we perform consumer fireworks displays. These are very similar to the fireworks you would see sponsored by your local community and displayed from the city park on a holiday. The main difference is a consumer fireworks display can be put on in a backyard and does not require any special licensing. This is because consumer fireworks are much smaller and far less powerful than typical display fireworks. We can perform such simple fireworks displays at a low cost and just about anywhere in Indiana. We also put together and perform what we call PyroMusicals. These are more advanced consumer fireworks displays and can take months to plan. With PyroMusicals, we synchronize fireworks to music and drama. Although we still use consumer fireworks, such displays take a larger area and cannot be performed in small backyards. However, PyroMusicals are a fun and exciting way to commemorate a very special event such as a charity fundraiser!
