Nick Zazirski’s Eagle Scout Project

Hi, my name is Nick Zazirski. On behalf of Boy Scout Troop 583, located in Castaic, CA and William S. Hart Regional Park, located in Newhall, CA, I am requesting that you consider making a donation to support my Eagle Scout Leadership Project. My project is for William S. Hart Regional Park. The park has significant value to the city of Santa Clarita, being formerly owned by famous actor William S. Hart. Within the park, there is a collection of barnyard animals, historic buildings, and a museum that is a member of the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County. The project entails replacing an old, worn-out chain link fence with a new split-rail, wooden fence. The fence will span around the fountain memorial and animal cemetery area towards the back of the park, behind Hart Hall. The fence itself will be roughly 50 feet by 25 feet long. My project will consist of removing the current fence from the site, constructing the new fence, and installing it . Additionally, my project will include the removal of overgrown cacti behind the memorial and the brush and weeds along the current fence line. I expect to complete the project by 21 September 2023.
