Nichole’s Second Major Eye Surgery

Helmchelle Nichole Peñano ia a 15 year special child, who was diagnosed of retinal detachment for both eyes and a cataract in the right eye last March 2020. She went through three major eye operation last June 2020 and one of the major operation was called vitrectomy wherein the silicone oil is injected into the vitreous space to help flatten the retina. The operation went well however the silicone oil needs to be removed and another cataract was developed in the left eye. Thus, she will need another eye operation this coming November 2020. The estimated amount of the two major eye operation will cost 400,000 pesos or 8510 USD.
