Hey! My name is Kristin Rankin.  I'm usually really good at saving my own money for mission trips, however, I've taken on much more financial responsibilities, and am currently without a job.  I've put in many applications, but no one is hiring right now.  Because of all of this, I'm in need of some help so that I can go on these mission trips.  I will be going to Somotillo, Nicaragua in June, and Managua, Nicaragua in October.

Somotillo: We will be going to schools in the mornings and we will pass out school supplies to the kids and to the teachers.  We will also get to hang out with the kids during their free time, and hopefully get to share the Gospel with them during that time.  In the afternoons we will go to a community (a different one each day) and at these communities we will hand out rice and beans, flip-flops, and medical supplies.  Later we will do a Christian skit, and then share the Gospel and give an invitation.  We will be working through churches so that these churches can follow up with the people who have made decisions to follow Jesus.

Managua: We will be building a bathroom for the first two days, and then we will take 50 sponsored kids to camp.  At camp we will have morning devotions and night worship services.  They will also be able to play games and swim during the day.  Camp is really important because the kids get to hang out with their sponsors.  They all say that this is the best week out of the whole year for them, and that it really helps them grow closer to God.

Please take your time to pray about giving financially, but more importantly, please pray for both of these trips, and that God will prepare my heart and the hearts of the people I will be ministering to!
