My name is Veronica Ruba and I'm staying in Angeles City Philippines. I am currently dealing with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma Stage 3-B (Breast Cancer), spread to 2 out of 11 lymph nodes. Found out that my Cancer is HER-2/neu Positive. It's an aggressive type of breast cancer and it's very rare. The recurrence is very high and so I need to take an additional regimen called Trastuzumab treatment aside from Surgery, Chemotherapy and Radiation.

I am a mother of 3 kids. Sadly, I am not financially capable of spending for expensive cancer treatments and medications. My treatment and management plan protocol is to undergo 6 cycles of Chemotherapy, 18 Sessions of Trastuzumab Treatment and 33 cycles of radiation. My Oncologist estimates for chemo drugs alone is roughly 45,000 every session. Trastuzumab treatment Is very expensive and can cost 84,000 per session or 1,512,000 for the whole treatment for 1 year. Recommended drug for my condition is Herceptin Drug. According to studies, this drug blocks the growth and recurrence of cancer with her2+ type of breast cancer.
